Cinnamon Raisin Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 12 Tbsp or 180 grams or 1.5 sticks butter at room temperature

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 3 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar.
  2. Blend in butter with a butter knife and then a fork until butter is finely mixed with dry ingredients.
  3. Add milk and stir until just mixed. Add raisins and stir. Add cinnamon and swirl into batter.
  4. Place two-inch sized dough balls onto parchment paper on a baking sheets.
  5. Place in preheated oven (400F) for about 15 minutes. After baking, let cool for 5 minutes.
