Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 2 sticks (230g or 1 cup) unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 12 oz (2 cups) semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F or 175C.
  2. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt.
  3. In large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, sugar, eggs, vanilla with a mixer or by hand until mixed.
  4. Add medium bowl dry ingredients to large bowl wet ingredients and mix by hand. Add in chocolate chips and mix by hand.
  5. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicon baking sheets and place 1 inch sized dough balls on baking sheet about 1.5 inches apart.
  6. Bake in oven for about 14-15 mins.
